Hello! My name is Šimon Pilc.

I'm from Jižní Město in Prague, and I study Cybernetics and Robotics (KyR) at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Czech Technical University (FEL ČVUT)

I am pleased you decided to visit my site if you are a tutor of the JVC course, a stalker and/or a curious stranger.

Ever since I was a child, I was interested in how things work on the inside. In 2017 I discovered 3D printing, and I haven't been the same ever since. I love experimenting with new materials, tinkering with custom printer modifications, and discovering all the things I can create at home.

This curiosity led me to pursue a career at Prusa Research, where I now take care of the 600 or so printers that run in their Holešovice print farm 24/7.

My passion for creating and designing drives me to continuously explore new technologies and methods.

I consider myself a transhumanist, believing that robots and technological advancements will change the world for the better and I would like to be a part of this future

In my free time, I enjoy winter sports, alcohol and lots of bad jokes only I laugh at
